Andrea received her Masters of Science at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in Research Psychology with a focus on child development of cognitive processes. In addition, she completed her coursework at the University of Kentucky for a PhD in Experimental Psychology with a focus on Child Development and Cognitive Processes in Infancy. During both of these experiences, Andrea taught several undergraduate courses and labs including Cognitive Psychology, Research Methods, and Statistics.

Andrea has worked for several non-profit organizations around Nashville as an Evaluator and Grant Writer. Since coming to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in June of 2014, Andrea has coordinated several Neurosurgery studies as well as Bariatric Surgery device studies.
